The Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE-Miami), the educational arm of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, is seeking a team player to collaborate with our talented Teen Department. You will be working in a healthy, supportive office environment (in person and/or remote) and engaging in interesting, inspiring work that seeks to improve our world and enhance the lives of teens.

CAJE’s Teen Department runs programs geared for teens and youth professionals (those that work with teens) in the Miami-Dade Jewish community. The Miami Diller Teen Fellows Program Coordinator will be an integral part of the Teen department team, reporting to the Teen Department Director.

This position provides creative and organizational support for the Diller Teen Fellows an immersive experiential education program for 10th and 11th graders designed to inspire and promote leadership among Jewish youth. Over the course of a 12-month fellowship, Diller Teen Fellows focus on Jewish identity development, leadership skills development, Israel-Diaspora connections, community service and tikkun olam. Diller Teen Fellows spans 32 communities, 16 Israeli and 16 International, fostering a very rich network for Jewish teens. Diller Miami is subsidized by CAJE, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, and the Helen Diller Family Foundation.

TIMELINE & LOGISTICS
Interviews will take place in March 2022 for a tentative start date of June, 15, 2022. The position is local, and the person must reside in South Florida. The new hire should be prepared to travel with the current Coordinator and Diller group to Israel July 3-24. Candidates must be fully vaccinated from Covid, based on Israel’s guidelines for entry.
